7 Day Itinerary Netherlands and Belgium

We start off the tour in the Netherlands and via Antwerp visit Brussels at the end. You can optionally visit other Belgian cities as well. At the beginning, after arriving in the Netherlands, we go to Leiden. Leiden is a quiet city but a very popular town. We base ourselves here staying in Leiden. After visiting the highlights of Leiden (including the museum of Ethncities and a Canal boat ride), visit Amsterdam which is the capital of Holland. In Amsterdam, visit the Ripley’s believe it or not museum and also taste some typical Dutch Heineken beer. On Day 4, we take the train from the Netherlands to Antwerp. Antwerp is the city of Diamonds. You will have a walk in the city before departing to Brussels, Belgium’s capital . There you will stay three nights and enjoy a city tour with the hop on hop off bus.
On day 5 you will be guided around the main city of Brussels to see the most important cultural and the natural attractions in the city. Thereafter you have another extra day in Brussels either to relax, or to visit another Belgian city like Gent or Bruges or Leuven. This 7 day Netherlands and Belgium itinerary will help you to explore both countries like a local, while visiting the main cities.
On the last day, you will take the public transport from your hotel to the airport to be on time.

Day 1,Airport-Leiden
Arrive in Holland at the Schiphol international airport. After arrival you take the train
and arrive in the city of Leiden. Leiden is a attractive city located 15 minutes from the
international airport. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Stay in your Hotel in Leiden.
Day 2,Explore Leiden
During the day, after breakfast make a boat trip in the canals of Leiden cruising along
the attractions such as the museum of lace hall and the historic windmills. In the afternoon
we visit the museum of ethnicities where there are many artefacts of different cultures are
exposed of many races of the world.
Day 3,Leiden-Amsterdam
Today, you visit the capital city of Holland, Amsterdam by train. As one of the main
attractions in the city, the first visit is to the and visit Ripleys believe it or not museum where
the Science related stories are exposed in realty. Thereafter we indulge in a beer workshop in
the oldest beer in Amsterdam -Heineken experience. Here you can see how this centuries
old beer is brewed and also taste some of it. Back to Leiden by train to your hotel.
Day 4,Leiden-Antwerp-Brussels
In the morning take the international bus tour to Brussels via Antwerp from the
selected spot in Leiden. Today’s main aim is to explore 2 ancient cities in Belgium. At
Antwerp we see the city highlights such as the harbour, the central station and the shopping
area. Thereafter we leave to Brussel where you stay in a hotel in the city centre.
Day 5,Antwerp-Brussels
Today is the day where you explore Brussels where a city tour will be taken to see the
most important buildings such as the European parliament, Grand palace and Atomium.
After brussels sight-seeing come back to the hotel in Brussels
Day 6,Brussels (Optional Gent or Bruges)
A full day to Explore Bruessls yourself. Optionally we can help you visit the European parliament going inside with a guided tour, or otherwise help you make an excursion to Gent or Bruges with the train.
Day 7,Brussels-Aiport
Flight back to your home country your next destination leaving on time by train to the
international airport.
