Day 1,Airport-Leiden
When you arrive to the Amsterdam Schiphol airport, your driver will be waiting to meet & greet you. You arrive in your hotel in Leiden in the taxi. This is the city you will be basing your tour from during this trip. Stay today in your hotel in Leiden very close to the Leiden central train station. The rest of the day is free of leisure. Your local representative will meet you at the hotel in the evening, and give a description of how the tour is going to be. He will also give the necessary papers for the rest of your trip.
Day 2,Cycling tour through flowers
After breakfast get into a taxi and go to the place where the bicycles are arranged for you. You will meet the guide who will provide you with instructions on the journey. Start off the bicycle tour from Leiden North or Leiden station and cycle among different kinds of flower fields for about 2 hours. Our destination is Tulip Experience, Amsterdam. We will bring you to a place where you also get the chance to take photos and also PLUCK TULIPS YOURSELF.
Return to Leiden North with your bicycles and go to your hotel back with the taxi.
Day 3,Visit Leiden
After breakfast in your hotel, you will be walking and visiting a museum yourself which is walking distance from the hotel. First you walk to the museum of ethnicities in Leiden (5 minutes from the hotel). In this museum, you will be able to see all the artifacts and the different ethnicities in the world and their origins. It is a fascinating museum with regular expositions.
After the completion of the museum, walk towards to the Beestenmarkt (another 2 minutes walking) in Leiden where you will be having a guided boat trip through the cultural heritage in Leiden. This boat ride is just as similar to the boat ride in Amsterdam but is in a quiet environment. You will come across monuments like the Museum of Boerhave ,the Leiden harbour and the Stadsschouwberg (city theatre). The rest of the day is free for leisure in the hotel.
Day 4,Explore Leiden
This morning, have your breakfast and head (walk 10 minutes) towards the European museum of the year for the year 2020. This is the museum Naturalis which is famous for the artifacts of the animals and the natural world. You come across different kinds of animal skeletons and got also fun facts about the animal world. After visiting the museum, you have the rest of the day free for leisure for shopping and last minute arranging.
Day 5,Leiden-Airport
- Go back to airport in Schiphol by catching 1 train from the Leiden central station. We provide you with the train ticket. At the Schiphol airport station, take the lift to floor higher and you will be in the airport arrival terminal. It takes only 15 minutes to travel to Schiphol from Leiden. Then take your flight back to the next destination.
